An Apple Watch can only display five different performance metrics or statistics, like your current pace or the distance you've run, while you exercise, so you can customize the ones you see. You can even set your clock to show only one important metric. That's how.
How to customize the metrics you see
For each type of training, your watch can track and show: Duration, Active calories, Total calories and heart rate. For some workouts, like Running outdoors or Swimming in pool, his watch also tracks (and can show) other more specific statistics like Distance, Current rhythm, Elevation Gain and Swim Lengths.
To change the statistics you see on your watch while you exercise, introduced a feature in the Photos app called “Watch” on your iPhone and go to Training > Training View.
On “on your iPhone and go to Training > Training View”, on your iPhone and go to Training > Training View “Edit”.
on your iPhone and go to Training > Training View “Metrics”, displayed when you exercise, and “on your iPhone and go to Training > Training View”, that they are not. To add a statistic, tap the green plus icon. To remove one, on your iPhone and go to Training > Training View “Remove”. To reorder the different metrics, use the controllers on the right. When you're done, touches “Ready”.
Note: The maximum it can display at the same time is five metrics. For most activities, you must select and select. You may also need to remove a default metric before you can add a different one..
Next time you track a workout, you will see the list of metrics you chose. To make one more visible, you can highlight it by turning the digital crown. This makes it look in color, so you can see it more easily with a glance. You can see Distance illuminated in yellow in the screenshot below.
How to switch to single metric view
If you only want to focus on a single important statistic (or stop constantly looking at your wrist while exercising), you can set the Workout app on your Apple Watch in single metric mode.
To do it, open the app “Watch” on your iPhone and go to Training > Training View. Please select “on your iPhone and go to Training > Training View”.
Now, when you track a workout with your watch, you will only see a single performance statistic (and the weather) at the same time. To switch between them, rotate digital crown.
