How to stop Siri from reading your notifications on iPhone

If you are tired of listening to Siri read every incoming iPhone notification through your AirPods, auriculares Beats o CarPlay, easy to stop Siri from reading notifications out loud. That's how.

First, open the Settings app on your iPhone by tapping the gear icon.

In Settings, Touch “Notifications”.

In iPhone or iPad settings, touches "Notifications".

In Notifications, select “Announce Notifications”.

In the Announce notifications settings, tap the switch next to “Announce Notifications” to deactivate it.

Siri announcing notifications has now been completely disabled.

Alternatively, Leave “Announce Notifications” enabled and adjust which apps you'd like Siri to announce notifications to use the “Announce notifications from” in the page “Announce Notifications”. To do it, scroll through the list and select any app you want to mute, then move the switch next to “Announce Notifications” to the off position. Peace at last!
