From iOS 15, iPadS 15 and macOS Monterey, the Do Not Disturb mode you know and love is now part of the Focus feature, and that's not bad. When you open the Control Center, you will find a big focus button where the do not disturb button used to be.
Inclusive con Focus, you can keep using Do Not Disturb like you used to, as an example, turning it on for an hour or just throughout the day.
The Focus function also contains other presets (the ways) as work, Staff and more. You can add more presets like Fitness, Gaming or create your own custom mode.
You can create your own focus mode
The Focus function allows you to choose who and what can catch your attention. In any focus mode, you can choose which specific apps or contacts can notify you. This feature was missing a lot in Do not disturb.
You can do this when setting up a new Focus (Apple has created a nice step-by-step procedure where you can whitelist apps and contacts), or later using the Settings app (there is a new Focus section in Settings).

Focus mode can display custom home screens
On iPhone and iPad, you can choose which splash screens to show when a particular focus mode is activated. You can choose to hide certain pages from the home screen when you are working or just relaxing.

Focus modes sync across all your devices
By default, Your Focus modes will sync across all your Apple devices (provided they are logged into the same account). This means that a focus mode set on the iPhone will be automatically enabled on the Mac and iPad at the scheduled time..
This can be a great feature when it comes to helping you work better.. If you do not like, you can also disable the sync function.
Focus modes can be automated
The work that Apple has done to integrate shortcut automation into the operating system is starting to show itself in a positive light.. Shortcut's automation system is built directly into the Focus function. For each Focus, can create multiple schedules, app-based locations and times. As an example, you can activate the focus mode for a couple of hours in the morning and in the evening.
Some focus modes, like Games or Fitness, They activate automatically when you start a game or workout. AND, of course, if you are creating a custom focus mode, you can create your own multiple automations based on time, location and applications.
