Apple AirDrop is a handy way to transfer files between Mac, iPhone and iPad. By default, generally found in the Favorites sidebar in Finder on macOS, but can be easily removed by dragging. Fortunately, it's easy to add it back to favorites if you accidentally misplaced it.
First, click on the desktop to focus the Finder. Click on “Finder” in the menu bar, and then select “preferences” on the menu.
On “Finder preferences”, click on the tab “Sidebar”.
In the section “Show these items in the sidebar”, select the check box next to “AirDrop”.
Now, when you open a new window “Finder”, AirDrop should be restored to the “Favorites” from the sidebar.
To move AirDrop and other posts up or down in the Favorites list, just drag and drop them where you want them.
