The Central Processing Unit (CPU) it's the brain of your Mac that processes numbers. Its characteristics determine how quickly your Mac processes information. The type of CPU varies depending on the model you have. Next, We show you how to quickly check which CPU is in your computer.
First, haz un clic en el menú de Apple en la esquina superior izquierda y después haz un clic en “Regarding this Mac”.
In the menu that appears, you will get a quick summary of your Mac's specifications, incluido el tipo de CPU que tiene junto a “Processor”. In the image below, we see that this iMac has a quad-core Intel Core i7 CPU a 3,5 GHz.
To learn even more about your Mac's CPU, click on “System report”.
Click on “Hardware” in the list on the left. The right panel will display detailed information about your Mac's processor, including all of the following:
- The name and speed of the processor
- The number of processors and cores.
- L2 cache size
- L3 cache size
- If Hyper-Threading is enabled
