While setting up a new Mac, you will want to download all your favorite apps, but it can be a tedious procedure. Thanks to a free service called Macapps.link, it's easy to automatically download and install many apps at the same time. That's how.
The secret is Macapps.link
If you are moving to a Mac from Windows, you may know of a nifty utility called Ninite. It is a simple command line based installer that enables you to download multiple applications with a single command. Although Ninite is not Mac-enabled, there is an equivalent alternative called Macapps.link.
To start, open the Macapps.link website in your favorite browser. When it loads, you will see a list of all the applications that you can install using the web portal. There are popular browsers, messaging apps, productivity tools and more.
Just select the apps you want to download by clicking on them. Each item will be highlighted when selected.
Once i'm done, Click the button “Instalar aplicaciones” explains how to disable the.
Then, you will see a pop-up window with a link to download the selected application package. Just select and copy this link using the Command keyboard shortcut + C.
Thereafter, we will need to open Terminal. Although using the Terminal can be overwhelming, no need to worry here, all we are doing is pasting a link.
There are many alternatives to open Terminal on a Mac. The fastest is to use Spotlight Search. Press Command + Space on your keyboard for a search bar to appear, scribe “Terminal” and, once you see it highlighted in the results, press the Return key.

When the Terminal window opens, click once inside the window and then hit Command + V on your keyboard to paste the link. Thereafter, press the Return key.
That was the only difficult part. Now all you have to do is wait while the installer does its job. In the Terminal window, you will see live updates on which app is downloading and installing.
Depending on how many apps you have selected, this procedure may take a couple of minutes. When the procedure is complete, verá un mensaje “Gracias por utilizar macapps.link” at the bottom of the screen.
When it's over, exit the Terminal application using the menu bar at the top of the screen (Terminal> Exit Terminal).
You can check installed apps using Launchpad. From the dock, click the Launchpad icon. Navigate to the last page and you will see the icons of your newly downloaded app.
To start any application you just downloaded, click on it once in Launchpad. And if at any time you need to download more apps quickly again, just revisit Macapps.link and repeat the previously mentioned procedure.
