Schedule automatic sending and receiving in Microsoft Outlook

If you use Outlook as your email client, you may want to schedule how often you check for new messages. Today we show you how to schedule the frequency with which the shipment occurs / automatic reception.

If you are busy throughout the day and need to keep up with your emails, you might want Outlook to check for new messages every few minutes. Here we will show you how to program it in Office 2010, 2007 Y 2003 for a busy inbox where you want to stay on top of your important emails.

Outlook 2010

To schedule the shipment / automatic reception in Outlook 2010, click the File tab and then Options.

The Outlook Options window opens … click Advanced and scroll down to Send and receive and click the Submit button / Receive.

In the Send window / receive groups below Settings for the group “All accounts” check the box Schedule a shipment / automatic reception every… minutes. It is set to 30 minutes by default and you can change the minutes to whatever you want. If you are busy and want to keep up with your messages, can do it every minute.

You can also enter the Send groups / Receive by selecting the Send tab / Receive on Tape and later Set shipping groups / reception.

Outlook 2007

To choose shipping time intervals / reception in Outlook 2007, open Outlook and click Tools Options.

Click on the Mail Settings tab, check the box next to Send immediately when connected then the Send button / Receive.

Now change the schedule to send / receive automatically.

You can also enter the Shipping Groups section / reception by going to Send / Receive> Shipping Settings / Receive and Set Send Groups / reception.

Outlook 2003

And Outlook 2003, click Tool Options …

Click on the Mail Settings tab and then check Send immediately when connected, then the Send button / receive.

After, set the amount of time between send attempts / reception.

If you live outside of Microsoft Outlook and want to keep up with your messages, configure delivery minutes / Automatic reception will keep you updated.
