If you copy text from the web and paste it into Word, it can be annoying for hyperlinks to transfer with it. Next, we show you how to easily paste text without hyperlinks or delete hyperlinks from text already in Word.

Paste text in Word without hyperlinks using Paste Special
Your first option is to delete the links as you paste the text.. Then, starting with a blank document, copy the text you want and open Word.
To paste the text without the hyperlinks, make sure the Home tab is activated. Subsequently, click the down arrow on the button “Catch” and click the button “Keep text only”. When you move the mouse over the button “Keep only text”, the text of the document changes to show you a preview of what it will look like.
Additionally, you can right-click the document and click the “Keep text only” in the pop-up menu.
Hyperlinks have been removed. Despite this, Normal style is applied to text, so you will need to change fonts and other layouts if that's not the format you want.
Remove hyperlinks from text already in your document
If the text that the hyperlink includes is already in your document, select the hyperlinked text and press Ctrl + Shift + F9.
All hyperlinks are removed from the selected text and the original formatting is preserved.
To delete a single hyperlink, right click on the hyperlink and select “Remove hyperlink” in the pop-up menu.
There are different alternatives to get rid of hyperlinks in pasted text in Word documents. The method you use depends on your preference. But, the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + F9 works in all versions of Word and might be the easiest way.

By default, hyperlinks are automatically inserted when you type email addresses and URLs in Word documents. Despite this, if you don't want hyperlinks to be inserted automatically, you can also disable that function.
