Windows users 10 often have to switch between several sets of speakers. Some may be built into a monitor, while others may be bundled in a headset or headphones. Next, explains how to set certain speakers as default output devices.
You can also set your default speakers in some applications
Although it is easy to select a default set of speakers that applies to each application, it is also not important to note that certain applications (how to zoom) allow you to select speakers only for that program which overrides the system defaults.
If you want to set a default sound output device for all applications throughout the system, keep reading. This will set your default speakers in Windows and apps will use them unless you set them to do otherwise.

How to select the default speakers through setup
With “Windows Settings”, it's easy to select your default output device. First, click on the menu “Beginning” and select the gear icon on the left to open “Setting”. You can also press Windows + i to open it.
Or right-click on the speaker icon in the notification area of the taskbar (system tray) and select “Open sound settings” to go directly to the screen “Sound settings”.
In the window “Setting”, select “System”.
Click on “Sound” in the sidebar of the window.
Look for the section “Departure” on the screen “Sound”. In the drop-down menu labeled “Choose your output device”, click on the speakers you'd like to use as default.
How to select your default speakers via the control panel
With the speaker icon in the systray, you can quickly set your default speakers with just a few clicks. First, right click on the speaker icon on your taskbar and select “Sounds” in the menu that appears.
In the window “Sound”, click on the tab “Reproduction”.
In the tab “Reproduction”, you will see a list of speakers recognized by Windows. (If you don't see the speakers you expect to see here, you may need to fix some problems). In the listing, highlight the speakers you would like to use as your default speakers, then click the button “Set as default”.

Once the speakers are set as default, you will see a green check mark next to the icon, and the list entry will also include “Default device”.
Close the window “Sound” by clicking the button “To accept”, and everything is ready.
