If you use a shared computer, one way to keep other users away from certain apps is to request a password to open that app. You can password protect individual apps with a third party app.

Having said this, if what you need is a quick solution and (ideally) temporal, this is what you can do.

Block apps in Windows 10
First, descargar e instalar My Lockbox going to page “My safe” on the FSPro Labs web portal and clicking the button “Descargar”.
Once downloaded, double click the icon “mylockbox_setup”. This will start the My Lockbox installation wizard.
The wizard will guide you through the setup procedure. The first two windows will ask you to select a language and accept the License Agreement. Thereafter, you will be asked to choose a folder to install My Lockbox. This is C:Program FilesMy Lockbox default. If you want to change the location, click on “Examine” and then select the location where to install My Lockbox. Opposite case, click on “Next”.
You will need at least 9 MB of free disk space to install My Lockbox.
Continue through the wizard and, in the end, click on “Install”. Installing the software should only take a few seconds.
My Lockbox will now be installed. Double click the application icon to start it.
The first thing that you will be asked to do when launching the application is to add a password. Enter a strong password and type it again to confirm it. If required, add a hint and your email address to retrieve the password in case you forget it.
Click on “To accept” to continue.
Next, you will be asked to select the folder you want to protect. What you'll want to do here is choose the folder that contains the app you want to block. If you lock the folder containing the application, you won't be able to open the app, even if you try to access the application from the start menu or desktop shortcut.
Click on “Examine” to open File Explorer.
Navigate to the folder containing the application you want to block, click it to select it and then click “To accept”. In this example, we will select the folder that contains Google Chrome.
Confirm the file path in the box “Folder to protect” and then click “To accept”.
Now you will be denied access when you try to start the application.
To open the application, start My Lockbox and enter the password. Click OK.”
The contents of the locked folder will now appear in the “My Lockbox File Explorer”. You can double click the application here or anywhere else to launch it.
The application will now be accessible without protection until you re-enable the settings. To do it, Click the button “Activate protection” in the upper right corner of the My Lockbox app.
The app inside the folder will now be behind the password wall again. Make sure to enable this protection feature every time you finish using the app.
