Windows Focus Assist feature 10 is a practical way to stay focused while working or playing. As of October update 2020, Windows 10 now automatically hides certain Focus Assist notifications that alert you when Focus Assist is on or off. If you want to get them back, it's easy to change in Settings. That's how.
First, start “Setting”. The quickest way to do this is by opening the Start menu and clicking on the gear icon.
On “Setting”, click on “System”.
Next, click on “Focus assist” in the sidebar.
In the settings “Focus aAssist”, scroll down until you see section “Automatic rules”. You will see four subsections: "During these moments", "When I'm mirroring my screen", "When I am playing" and "When I am using an application in full screen mode. “
For now, activate the four automatic rules with the switches next to them. Even if you don't intend to use them later, this will allow you to configure them later in the steps below.
Next, we will have to visit some hidden subsections of the Focus support page. First, haga clic en las palabras “During these times”. It doesn't look like a button, but you can click on it.
A new Settings sub-page will appear. Inside that page, mire hacia la parte inferior y marque la casilla “Mostrar una notificación en el centro de actividades cuando la asistencia de enfoque se active automáticamente”.
(If you don't see the check box, means the rule is disabled. Mueva el interruptor de la regla a “Activated” y aparecerá la opción de casilla de verificación).
Thereafter, repeat the same steps with the other three automatic rules, “Cuando estoy duplicando mi pantalla”, “Cuando estoy jugando” and “Cuando estoy usando una aplicación en modo de pantalla completa”. Click on each, one at the same time, and when the new Settings screen appears, check the box “Mostrar una notificación en el centro de acción cuando la asistencia de enfoque se active automáticamente” en cada página.
Once you have checked all four boxes in the four subsections, return to the main Focus Assist setup page. Using the switches next to each ruler, disable any of the automatic rules you don't plan to use.
Finally, look near the bottom of the main Focus Aasist setup page, justo debajo de la sección “Automatic rules”. Coloca una marca de verificación en la casilla junto a “Show me a summary of what I missed while focus assist was on”.
Thereafter, Apple created a feature called “Setting”. The next time Focus Assist is triggered by one of your automation rules, you will receive a notification about it, like old times. And once you're done with that particular task and Focus Assist shuts down, you will receive another notification summarizing all the notifications you missed while concentrating. Stay focused!
