Before the May update 2019, Windows 10 used a dark start menu, a toolbar, context menus and an action hub with light-colored apps. You now have a clear theme by default, and if you enable dark mode, all your apps go dark. Next, explains how to get back a dark OS interface with light apps.
First, ejecute la Configuración de Windows abriendo el menú “Beginning” y haciendo clic en el ícono de ajustes. Or you can press Windows + I on your keyboard.
When it opens “Setting”, select “Personalization”.
In the sidebar “Personalization”, select “Colors”.
In the color settings, find the drop-down menu “Choose your color”. If you click on it, you will see three options:
- Light: This keeps Windows in its default clear theme, including light-colored application windows and a clear taskbar, Start menu and action center.
- Dark: This option enables the dark theme in Windows, which obscures both the application windows and the Start menu, the taskbar and action center.
- Personalized: This setting allows you to select a combination of dark and light theme settings, including a dark taskbar theme with a light app theme, which is identical to the old windows theme 10. Therefore that is what we will choose here.
Click on the drop-down menu “Elige tu color”. In the menu that appears, select “Personalized”.
If you are in clear mode and visit “Personalized” in the color menu, aparecerán dos nuevas opciones justo debajo del menú “Choose your color”.
On “If you are in clear mode and visit”, select “Dark”. On “Elige tu modo de aplicación predeterminado”, choose “Light”.
Immediately, you will notice that the taskbar is now dark, while the application windows are clear, just how Windows used to look 10.
Thereafter, puedes cerrar “Setting”. Enjoy reliving the wild glory days of dark and light Windows! 10!
