You may be used to tapping the arrow keys to quickly scroll through images in the Windows Photos app, but an even faster method is to use the mouse wheel. We will show you how to make the mouse wheel scroll instead of zoom.
By default, when an image is open in Photos and you use the mouse wheel, your photo zooms in or out. When adjusting the Photos settings, you can change this behavior so that the mouse wheel opens the next or previous photo in your folder.

How to make the mouse wheel scroll through photos
To change the role of the mouse wheel in Photos, first, open the Photos app on your Windows 10 o PC. For this, open the menu “Beginning”, I searched “Photos” and click the application in the search results.
When Photos, in the upper right corner, click on the three dots.
In the three-point menu, select “Setting” to open the Settings menu of the Photos app.
On the screen “Setting”, scroll down to section “Viewing and editing”. At the bottom of this section, in the subsection “Mouse wheel”, enable option “View the previous or next item”.
And that is. In pictures, your mouse wheel will now navigate between images in your folder.
To prove it, open a folder containing some images. Open any photos other than the first or last in that folder with Photos. Subsequently, scroll up with the mouse wheel to see the previous photo, or scroll down with the mouse wheel to go to the next photo.
