How to sync photos wirelessly between Windows 10 and Android

Photo syncing between Android and Windows with your phone requires very little setup. You just have to make sure to grant the Your phone companion app permission to access your photos.

Throughout the setup procedure, just touch “Let” when the Companion app asks you to access your photos, Android media and files. This is necessary for photo transfers.

Another popup will ask for your permission to allow Your Phone Companion app to run in the background; touches “Let”. This will ensure that you stay connected to your PC and always display the latest photos.

Once those two permissions are granted, the function is ready to use. In the Your Phone app on your Windows PC, just click on the tab “Photos”.

Next, select a photo from gallery. You can also click on “To update” to check for new photos.

Tip: If you don't see any photos in the tab “Photos”, just click “To see photos” to enable that function.

When a photo is open, you will see the following options at the top of the screen:

  • “Opened”: Open the photo in Windows photo viewer.
  • “double”: Copy the image to your Windows clipboard.
  • “Save as”: Save the photo to a folder on your Windows PC.
  • “Share”: Open the Windows Share menu, where you can select a method to share the photo directly.
  • The three-point menu: It gives you the option to open the photo in a different application.

That's all about it! The feature syncs photos surprisingly fast when you have a good internet connection. If you don't like cloud storage apps, this is a good alternative to easily move photos between your phone and your PC.
