Photo editing on Android smartphones and tablets has come a long way over the years. There are many powerful built-in tools at your disposal. Despite this, one thing seems to always stay out: the ability to simply flip a photo.
Crop and rotate are basic items of almost all editing applications on Android, but what if you just pretend to flip an image? Some camera apps will take mirrored photos with the front camera. It looks like this would be a basic feature, but is not.
As an example, Google Photos is one of the most popular photo apps on Android. Editing tools make it possible to crop, rotate and even adjust perspective, but the investment is nowhere to be found.
There are many applications in the Google Play Store search engine that aim to fix this problem, but most of them are riddled with ads. La mejor solución es una aplicación de Google llamada “Snapseed”. This is a powerful photo editing app, but we only need the flipping tool.
First, download Snapseed from Play Store on your Android device.
Next, abra la aplicación y toque el gran botón “+” que se encuentra en el centro de la pantalla.
The first time you use the app, you will be asked to give permission to enter the media on your device. Touch “Let” to continue.
Touch the button “+” nuevamente y elija la imagen que le gustaría voltear.
With the image open in the editor, switch to tab “Tools” in the bottom bar.
A bunch of photo editing tools will appear. the one we want is “Rotate”.
Now tap on the flip icon on the bottom bar.
The image will now flip horizontally.
Instead, if you want to flip it vertically, you can use the rotate button together with the flip button.
When it's over, tap the check mark button in the lower right corner.
To save the flipped image, select “To export” in the bottom bar.
There are several options to save the image:
- Save money it will simply create a copy of the original image.
- Use To export if you want some additional options after saving.
- Export how will allow you to save the copy in a specific folder.
- You can also Share directly to an application or contacts.
That's all about it! Now has a mirror image. Simple as that.
