All you need to know about UX UI

Web design plays a vital role in the success of any digital marketing strategy. The problem is a lot of confusion about what design means and how to use it in a company’s digital strategy; today, we will see the UX UI benefits.

It is well known that companies like Nike, Coca-Cola, Google, and Apple around the world care so much about their products and services; the good news is that it’s not just big companies that can use both UX and UI. Your company can (and should) too.

But how to use what you still need to understand?

That’s why today we’re going to explain the two most important concepts you should learn: UI and UX design. If you already knew them and thought they were the same, we’ll help you clear that confusion.

What is UX design?

UX is how a person feels when using your company’s digital product or service. The UX is about how a person feels utilizing the product or the page. This also includes their experience with your website and blog, online system or application, even if your business is not 100% digital, this is true.

Role of UX design in marketing?

Imagine the following example: when a potential customer comes to your website, he wants to know how to contact the salesperson. He searches for a long time until he finds a link to the contact page, but the form is broken, and it takes three companies to complete the quote.

What experience do you think this user has had? He must have frustrated his search by now, right? The most likely way to solve a form problem is to be angry or depressed.

In such a situation, most users don’t even bother to log in three times, as in our example. But the question is who does, isn’t there the same willingness to continue the conversation after contacting the seller, right? In other words, a good user experience can help generate more leads and more deals using UX UI.

What is UI design?

The idea behind a user interface is to guide the user through your application as they use it. To make it easier to explain, we’ll use the same example we just saw.

When a person comes to your website, you want them to perform specific actions. A good UI design job allows you to guide users through the navigation and have them perform those actions naturally. Suppose the goal is for a person to request contact information from a salesperson. Everything on the page (content, navigation menus, calls to action, images, etc.) must work together to make that need felt.

What is the role of user interface design in digital strategy?

If your site does not correctly guide users through the interface, they are unlikely to take the right actions. As a result, this sales channel fails to achieve business objectives.

Have you ever visited a confusing website that didn’t convey your value proposition or made it difficult to find the information you were looking for? Well, then those were examples of poorly designed user interfaces.

And a poorly designed user interface costs a lot, because the almost immediate response of visitors is to return to their browser and go to another site with a better user experience.

But wait… A better experience? Isn’t that the role of UX? Remember this, as we are now telling you that the user interface directly affects the user experience. If your website navigation is terrible, it will be pretty challenging to provide a good experience.

Now that you know UX UI designs, you know they are closely related but are not the same. Remember, the secret is to use the two together to strengthen your digital strategy.
