Notifications can be a blessing and a curse. Sometimes they are very useful, but they can also distract. If you have an Android smartphone or tablet, it is very likely that you can take a break and postpone them.
It is feasible to absolutely disable notifications for specific apps, but sometimes, that's too aggressive. Maybe you just need to stop distractions for a short time. Android Oreo has entered notification snooze and is enabled on many devices.
Notification repeat is enabled on Google Pixel phones and Samsung Galaxy devices. Availability is limited (and sometimes it is not enabled) on phones and tablets from other manufacturers. Is that how it works.
In some versions of Android, you will need to manually enable snooze before you can use it. Swipe down from the top of the screen (once or twice depending on the manufacturer of your device) and tap the gear icon to open the Settings menu.
In the Settings menu, go to “Apps and notifications”.
Select option “Notifications”.

Next, find an app notification you want to snooze and slowly swipe it left or right.

The time alternatives are generally 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour and 2 hours. Choose one of the times listed (and touch “Keep” si se muestra ese botón).
That is all! After the repetition period is over, all the notifications that arrived during that time will appear. Unfortunately, repeating doesn't work for all apps, so your results may vary. Keep this in mind when testing this feature.
