new google play store UI message

It's not uncommon for Google to update the UI of its Android apps, incluida Play Store. A change made in early 2021 puts many of the menu items you may want to go into in a much less obvious place. We will show you where to look.

In april 2021, Google started implementing a slight redesign a Play Store en Android. In the same way as in other Google applications, main menu moved from button “Burger” of three lines that was previously in the upper left corner to the user's profile icon located in the search bar.

Although it is a small visual change, just delete an icon, makes a big difference in how the app navigation works. Now you have to prepare to go elsewhere and check for app updates, view your library and enter the configuration menu.

When the new user interface is deployed on your device, you will notice that the old hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines) it disappears. Touching it, the message shown below will be displayed, instructing you to touch your profile icon. The old slide-out menu will disappear after this.

From now on, to enter the menu in the Play Store application on Android, you will need to tap on your profile icon on the right side of the search bar.

This will expand a menu with all the alternatives that you are used to seeing. This includes “My apps and games”, “Library”, “Payments and subscriptions”, “Setting”, your Play Points information and more.
