From there, tap the button with the comedy skins / tragedy.

If this is the first time you have enabled Theater mode, you will get a short summary of what it is. and then put your device into pairing mode “Theater way” to enable it.

This will activate theater mode, as well as silent mode. Despite this, you can tap the Silent Mode button to turn it off while keeping Theater Mode enabled. This enables you to continue receiving notifications.

You can now exit the Control Center and you will see the Theater mode icon at the top of the home screen.

When the screen turns off, It will not turn on again unless you touch the screen or press one of the side buttons. Even if you do this, Theater Mode will still be enabled, so it will still be off when the screen turns off again.

To disable Theater Mode, just go back to the Control Center and tap the Theater Mode button. You will get a confirmation at the top that says Theater Mode has been disabled. Silent mode will also be disabled.

That's all about it! AND, decidedly, you can also use this for many other situations, like it's late at night and you just don't want the screen to turn on and blind you. At the same time, it could save a little battery extension.
