IPhone user combining two images using shortcuts

There are times when it is necessary to combine or join two images side by side to share them on social networks or to compare them. You don't need an app to do this. Next, We show you how to combine images on your iPhone or iPad using shortcuts.

Shortcuts is a built-in automation tool on your iPhone and iPad. Allows you to create automations by joining a series of actions. These can be simple or complex (you can even create shortcuts that use variables).

But you don't need to worry about all that, because you can easily import and use third-party shortcuts that have been created by the community. Think of it like installing a plugin in an app or an extension in a browser.

“Merge images” is one of those community shortcuts that you can download from the internet. Allows you to combine images from the Photos app horizontally or vertically, or even as a grid. The good thing about this shortcut is that it allows you to define the order of the images, as well as the spacing between them.

If you are new to using shortcuts, you must first enable the untrusted shortcuts feature from the application “Setting”.
