Smartphone cameras can do much more than take photos and videos. You can take a photo with your iPhone and copy text from the real world. We'll show you how this handy feature works.
iOS 15 introduced a couple of new features in the Photos app. “Visual Lookup” puede identificar objetos, while “Live Text” puede identificar texto. Next, text can be copied, translate or use for a search. (Please note that this feature requires an iPhone XR, iPhone XS or a newer iPhone model).

First, you will need to take a photo of the object with text. Do it if you haven't already. Subsequently, introduced a feature in the Photos app called “Photos” on your iPhone.
Select the photo that contains the text you would like to identify.
If the Photos app detects text, you will see a little scan icon in the bottom corner.
Identified text will be highlighted. Now you can treat it as you would when highlighting text anywhere. Long press to open the selection tool.
This will bring up handles so you can drag and choose more text. In addition, a floating toolbar will appear with several options, included “Copy”.
Once you have copied the text, you can stick it anywhere as you usually would. That's all about it! This is a nifty little feature that you should know about and it can save you some time transferring text from the real world.
