Google Photos doesn't offer unlimited free storage, which means that you may run out of space. Fortunately, Google has some easy-to-use tools to help you maximize the storage space you have., free or not. Next, Here's how to identify image types and delete your photo storage.
Waiting, No more storage without costs?
Google stopped offering unlimited free storage on 1 June 2021. Before that, you could upload unlimited photos and videos on “High quality”. That meant 16 megapixels for 1080p photos and videos.
Now, all those photos and videos count for your storage, that is of 15 GB if you don't subscribe to Google One. One important thing to pay attention to is that all the photos and videos that you backed up in the Google Photos search engine before the 1 June 2021, no count for your cloud storage.

Manage Google Photos storage
First, open the Google Photos app on your iPhone, iPad, O Android phone or tablet. Tap on your profile icon in the upper right corner.
Please select “Account storage” on the menu.
Depending on your device, you could upload unlimited photos and videos on “Manage storage” before continuing.
On the next screen, you will see a graph showing how much storage space you are using. It will even estimate how long it will take to fill it.

From here, you can touch and hold to choose multiple photos and videos and move them to trash.
