If you are looking for an easy way to make your iPhone work well with your KDE desktop, today is your lucky day, Given the KDE Connect is finally available as an iPhone app (click on the post titled "KDE Connect iOS Enters Public Test Flight Tests"!”), even when in beta form.

To take advantage of KDE Connect on iPhone, will have to go through a couple of hindrances. First, you should go to this TestFlight Link to configure it to beta test the KDE Connect app. At the same time, must be on iOS 15 for the application to run, so you'll need to make sure your iPhone is up to date.

Before you download the app, you can also consult the KDE Connect iOS source repository to make sure everything looks good.

If you're not sure what KDE Connect does, KDE describes it as “a project that enables all your devices to communicate with each other”. You can receive notifications on your desktop and reply to messages, control music on your desktop from your phone, use your phone as a remote control for your desktop and do many other interesting things.

The tool has been available on Android for some time, but iPhone users were left out until the release of the version of TestFlight that has just been released. If you intend to try it for yourself, go to TestFlight Link on your iPhone and try it.
