Split an Outlook email into two separate dashboards

Contents

If you have received a long email, or is he writing one, Outlook enables you to vertically split email into two panels, so you don't have to scroll as much to reference different parts of the mail.

If at any time you had to deal with a long email full of responses from different people, you'll realize how useful this little feature is right away. You can use the top panel to keep an earlier part of the conversation in view, so that you can refer to it while using the bottom panel to type your answer. AND, of course, that's just one use. You will certainly find many others.

To divide the mail, click in the Reading Pane or double-click the mail to open it and then click Ctrl + Alt + S. This will place a horizontal divider bar in the middle of the mail, with a separate scroll bar on each panel.

You can now reference or compare different parts of the mail in the same window. To erase the division, double click the divider bar.

It's a small but surprisingly useful feature!!
