By enabling Spotify private session, you can hide your listening activity from your followers. We will show you how to activate this feature in Spotify on desktop computers and mobile devices..

What is a private session on Spotify?

By default, Spotify shows your listening activity to your followers. If you prefer to keep your activity private, you can use a private session.

When you are in a private session, Spotify does not record your listening activity. Everything you hear in this session will remain private. At the same time, Spotify does not use any data from private sessions in its algorithms to recommend new music to you.
