By default, Windows 10 displays notification pop-ups when the Store automatically installs app updates. You will see a notification that says “The app was updated, Check it”. If you prefer not to see them, here we show you how to deactivate them.
As an example, we saw this notification when Windows 10 updated automatically “Gaming services”, a background service. There is no way “to check” a background service, unless you want to start a game from Xbox Game Pass para PC—Therefore we decided to disable them.
Store notification alternatives are in the app “Setting”. To start it, open the menu “Beginning” and click the icon “Setting” on the left side of the screen, the Windows pressure + i.
In the window “Setting”, go to System> Notifications and Actions.
Scroll down to the section “Receive notifications from these senders”.
Look for the option “Microsoft Store” in the listing. If the Store sent you a recent notification, You will see it at the top of the list sorted by “More recent”. Click the switch “Activated” to change it to “disabled”. The Store will no longer show you update notifications.
That is all. Even so, We suggest that you leave automatic Store updates enabled for security reasons, since Microsoft sometimes issues security updates through the store.
Despite this, you don't need the Store to notify you when it installs these updates.
(At the same time, if you disable automatic updates, you will not see notifications when updates are available. We have only seen that the Store sends notifications after installing an update, not when notification is available, so these notifications will not help you install updates manually.)
