Regularly, Windows 10 will automatically set the most recently used printer as the default printer. For some people, this can be annoying. Fortunately, you can disable this feature and manage your default printer manually. That's how.

First, abra “Setting” clicking on the menu “Beginning” and selecting the gear icon on the left. Or you can press Windows + i on your keyboard to quickly open it.

In Settings, click on “Devices”.

If Windows settings are not open yet, open it and navigate to Devices> Printers and scanners.

First, scroll down and find the option “Let Windows manage my default printer” (see previous section). If the box next to it is checked, unmarked. You must disable this feature to manage your default printer manually.
