By default, when you open the Windows Start menu 10, you will see recently added apps at the top of the app list. This section shows some of the apps you have most recently installed. If you want to remove that, it's easy to change. That's how.
This is what a typical section of “Recently added” at the top of the Start menu app list. It is a small area that shows the names and icons of recently installed applications.
If you want to hide the section “Recently added”, we will have to visit the Windows Configuration. Open Settings by clicking the menu “Beginning” and selecting the icon “Gear” (or by pressing Windows + I).
In Settings, click on “Personalization”.
In Personalization, click the option “Beginning” in the sidebar.
In the Start menu settings, look for the switch labeled “Show recently added apps”. Click the switch to turn it off.
The next time you open the Start menu, the recently added apps section at the top will disappear. You will no longer be reminded of all the apps you have recently installed, but, decidedly, you can find them in the All apps list or by using the search box in the Start menu.
