Microsoft updates Windows 10 often, but it is not always clear when each update was installed. Fortunately, there are two easy ways to see a list of the most recently installed updates. Here's how to check.
First, abra “Windows Settings”. La forma más rápida de hacerlo es haciendo clic en el ícono de engranaje pequeño en el menú “Beginning” or by pressing Windows + i on your keyboard.
On “Setting”, click on “Update and security”.
Please select “Windows Update” in the sidebar, then click “View update history”.
In the page “View update history”, you will be able to see various lists of installed Windows updates 10 sorted by category. This is what each category means.
- Quality updates: These are periodic important updates to the Windows operating system itself. 10.
- Driver updates: These are driver updates that enable you to use devices with your system.
- Definition updates: These are Microsoft Defender antimalware updates that add new information about emerging threats so that Windows can detect them.
- Other updates: These are miscellaneous updates that don't fit into the other three categories.
By default, some of the categories may be collapsed. To see them, click on the category heading.
Once you have expanded each section, you will see the updates listed in reverse chronological order (with the latest updates at the top). For each entry, you will see the name of the update on one line and, next, the date it was installed below.
In several of the categories, the name of each update is also a web link. If you want more information on a particular update, click on your link and a browser will open. In the browser, you will see the page for that update on the Microsoft support web portal.
When you have finished reviewing the list, puede cerrar la ventana “Setting”.
