If you want to jump directly to the command line via PowerShell, the command prompt or even a Linux shell, you can make Windows Terminal start easily at startup in Windows 11 (and Windows 10). Here's how to do it.
First, if you are running Windows 10 and you don't have Windows Terminal installed yet, it is available for free and the Microsoft Store. Just click on “Get”, then in “Install” Just click on, and will be installed in a few moments.
Next, start Windows Terminal. In Windows 10 u 11, I searched “terminal” Just click on. If it is on Windows 11, Just click on “Windows Terminal” in the menu that appears.
When Windows Terminal opens, click the down arrow next to the plus sign (“+”) in the tab bar. In the menu that appears, choose “Setting”.
On the Settings tab, choose “Beginning” in the sidebar. On the home settings page, move the switch next to “Start at machine start” Just click on.
Thereafter, close the Settings tab. The next time you restart your PC and log in, Windows Terminal will start after a few moments at the default command line that you choose. Happy piracy!
