Microsoft is approaching the final release date of Windows 11, and all built-in Windows applications are being updated to match the appearance of the operating system. Now, Photos is the ultimate app to get the Windows treatment 11, as shared by Panos Panay on Twitter.

Panos Panay has shared quite a few Windows updates 11 and Twitter. As an example, Panay first revealed the new Snipping Tool. Now, has shared a quick video showing what the Photos app will look like in Windows 11.

Although there don't seem to be many new features with the Photos app, definitely looks like windows 11. We've come to know and love those rounded corners in Microsoft's latest version of Windows that are present in Photos., as well as a slightly cleaner user interface. As an example, controls for editing images are now more compact, which should simplify its use.
In addition there are some improvements in the trim menu. Now the image jumps to full screen when you are working on cropping it.

Evidently, any changes Microsoft chooses to make will not replace a real image editing application like Photoshop. Even so, at least you can use the Photos app to do some basic image editing with the Windows look and feel 11.
Usually, it seems that everything is simplified in the Windows Photos app 11. It's great to see Microsoft going out of their way to make sure their apps are polished and well-designed for Windows. 11. Now, hopefully the company can make the Photos app run less slowly.
