As long as the preview versions of Windows 11 have been available, you have been required to update from Windows 10. Now, Microsoft has Announced what is releasing Windows 11 as ISO, which means you can do a fresh installation of Windows 11 or an on-site update.
When installing the ISO, will go through what Microsoft calls the “ready-to-use experience”, which is the installation procedure that is designed to get you excited about everything related to Windows 11. If you are curious as to what to get a new Windows 11 PC will feel like, downloading the ISO and installing it will be exactly what you want to do.
Microsoft says it added the ability to name your PC during the setup experience. You will also be able to experience the Get Started application that is designed to help you get started with your new Windows PC. 11 (even if it's not really a new one).
The specific build available now is Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22000.132. This is the build that contains the new and improved Windows clock app 11, offering Focus Sessions. You can also use this build to test the new Snipping Tool, who has received many accolades so far.
Just remember that if you choose to use this ISO to do a clean install of Windows, will delete all your files. Make sure you have backed up the files you want to keep, since they will disappear after a clean installation of Windows 11.
